December 6 marked the two-year anniversary of the first Occupy Our Homes action that occurred in cities and towns across the United States.  An offshoot of the Occupy Wall Street movement, Occupy Our Homes has been a rallying point for activists to directly challenge banks and defend homeowners facing foreclosure.  Back in 2011, I covered the event as it played out across Metro Atlanta for Turnstyle Magazine.  I’ve been thinking a lot about  where those homeowners and community activists are today and wanted to share these images that didn’t make it into my original post.
